The Globe Inn overlooks the pretty, leafy Georgian square in the bustling seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, perfectly placed for an adventure on the fabulous North Norfolk coast.
Newly refurbished and inspired by the towns maritime charm, the pub and dining room have been wonderfully updated. An eclectic mix of collectable travel items adorn the walls and the brickwork and beams are complimented with walnut timbers and brass antique lighting.
The 19 bedrooms have also been given a make-over, using coastal inspired fabrics and soft pastels, a cosy place to rest your head after a day in the salty sea air. The addition of Arch House Rooms, just a short walk away, now offers a further 10 spacious bedrooms and a self-contained cottage to choose from. All with private parking.
With such incredible provenance right on their doorstep, The Globe’s chefs take great delight in producing locally sourced meals, that embrace the regions nautical heritage. Their menu explores regional British fare from land and sea, all with a global touch. Simple, but tasty dishes, providing colonial riffs on popular classics.
With breath-taking beaches, numerous attractions and a plethora of quirky shops, it is almost impossible to fit everything into one day; you’ll have to stay longer at The Globe.
All rooms welcome dogs for overnight stays too. Check out their Sandy Paws Package.
