The Brisley Bell

The multi award-winning Brisley Bell is perfectly nestled between the North Norfolk coast and the City of Norwich. This pub is a great base to discover all that Norfolk has to offer and there are some lovely walks directly from the pub itself. Oh, and dogs are very welcome indeed.

A 17th century village inn, it was renovated from derelict and reopened in 2017 by owners Marcus & Amelia. It retains many of its old charms (including its characteristic community spirit), with cosy corners and low beamed ceilings, juxtaposed with stylish modern touches.

Celebrating local artisan suppliers, pub lovers and foodies alike can indulge in a broad selection of drinks and a homemade menu. Head Chef, Hervé Stouvenel, creates fresh and seasonal dishes bursting with flavour and combines classic English cuisine with global influences. If you’re looking for a longer stay, set in almost two acres of grounds, there’s a choice of six en-suite bedrooms in converted barns that have been individually designed with a focus on quality, comfort and relaxation. One room is fully accessible, and two rooms are dog friendly. All are supplied with eco-friendly toiletries, some homemade sloe gin and shortbread, and a Roberts radio.
