Molly’s Cottage sits at the end of a tree lined private drive. This detached brick and flint four bedroom, two bathroom house, is a wonderful place to stay while exploring Norfolk.
Surrounded by its own gardens, with beautiful views of the open countryside, Molly’s Cottage offers complete privacy and peace. If you want a break from driving, the cottage is adjacent to the Weavers Way Walker‘s Path and just 1 :1/4 miles from the sea, totally walkable from the cottage, should you wish.
The rear, east facing side, of the house has floor-to-ceiling glass, so expect amazing views of the sunrise. And, with no light pollution, the stars at night while lying in bed. Perfect all year round, so cosy up during winter evenings on the sofa in front of the log burner or during the summer months, throw open those French doors, light up the barbecue and watch your children play safely on the swing or boat in the contained gardens. There is off street parking for up to 3 vehicles too.
With Norfolk’s famous beautiful beaches in mind, the house has been completely refurbished with soft, muted Farrow & Ball colours and seafaring accents throughout. How lovely.
The kitchen is newly fitted with shaker, style units and is fully equipped for all culinary delights. The lounge has two large sofas, a coffee table, side tables, while the dining area has a table that can extend to fit up to 8. There are books, magazines and boardgames all for your enjoyment. Internet access is free and there’s a smart LG television (for those times when you are not out exploring). A small television with DVDs can be found in the snug/4th bedroom.
For sleeping, there are king size double sleigh beds in the two main bedrooms, two singles in the front bedroom and a day bed for converting to a bed in the snug, should it be required. Egyptian cotton bedlinen on all beds.
Molly’s Cottage is just a five minute drive away from Cromer, with its famous pier, shops and entertainment. Also, just down the road is Sheringham, with its vintage railway, lovely shops, bistros and restaurants. There are of course many beautiful beaches all the way along the coast, which Norfolk is renowned for, a plethora of places to visit and enjoy for all the family, no matter the ages.
Molly’s Cottage is the perfect base for your next North Norfolk adventure.
