Authentic wood fired pizza in a yurt on the North Norfolk coast? See you there!
Alongside it’s older sibling, Eric’s Fish & Chips, in Drove Orchards on the Norfolk Coast (just off the A149 coast road), new(ish) kid on the block, Eric’s Pizza brings the same high quality food and experience, you’d expect from owner Eric Snaith (who also owns three AA Rosette restaurant, Titchwell Manor).
The remit is reassuringly simple: hand-stretched Pizza, topped with quality fresh ingredients, cooked traditionally in a wood oven.
This is no ‘middle-of-the-road’ Pizza though, of course. Each Pizza is made from 24-hour fermented dough, with high quality locally sourced toppings that are often a little more adventurous than your Pepperoni and Margherita (though of course you’ll find those classics here too). Yellowfin Tuna, Pickled Shiitake, Smoked Beetroot… These are toppings combos that are designed to make your mouth water.
Alongside the Pizza, you’ll find made-on-site Antipasti, Charcuterie from Dingley Dell Farm in Suffolk and a carefully curated selection of beers, wines and soft drinks.
As well as the food at Eric’s Pizza, we think you’ll love the setting. If you’re dining in, you’ll sit in the yurt – a large, round tent with vertical walls and a conical roof. The atmosphere is ambient with no urgency to hurry. Note: Eric’s Pizza does not take bookings. Seating inside is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prefer to take out? Eric’s Pizza offers a takeaway option too. You can even Click & Collect with the app. Order, pay and choose your pick up time, all online!
Camping enthusiasts will tell you that nothing compares to the experience of sleeping under canvas. But what about eating Pizza under canvas? We’re all in.
