Sitting pretty on the picturesque Norfolk coast at Drove Orchard, Eric’s Fish & Chips brings the traditional British fish and chip restaurants of the past into the 21st Century. A reassuringly classic menu is seasoned with contemporary European cuisine, carried over from owner Eric Snaith’s three AA Rosette restaurant, Titchwell Manor.
Using local, seasonal produce – some sourced within mere miles of the restaurant – Eric’s Fish & Chips champions artisan producers, British farmers and sustainably caught fish.
Apart from the Fish & Chips, favourites of ours are the Battered Dingley Dell Sausage and the Halloumi & Spinach Arancini.
Eric’s also do an awesome line in fried desserts, the Deep Fried Jam Sandwich is a must and if you pop by over Easter you have to sample the Deep Fried Creme Eggs. Delicious.
Plenty of drinks to choose from, we love the Eric’s SEAZA Session Pale Ale.
Open from noon to 8pm Sunday to Thursday and noon to 8:30pm Friday & Saturday, to eat-in or take away, Eric’s Fish & Chips is the perfect place to bring the kids for a weekend treat, meet in the evening for a convivial feast with friends or spend some time, just the two of you, sharing a bag doused in salt and vinegar.
Plenty of outside dining space, some covered if the weather gets a bit too hot or wet.
