Under cover – Shopping whatever the weather!
The vast majority of the stalls at Deepdale Christmas Market are under cover, so you can enjoy your shopping whatever the weather. There are also the permanent shops and cafe of Dalegate Market. All be running stalls over the weekend. The crew of Deepdale Backpackers & Camping are running a cafe in the backpackers courtyard in aid of Crisis. St Mary’s Church will be offering hot drinks and home made cakes amongst the pews.
On the beautiful North Norfolk Coast
If you haven’t already discovered the beautiful countryside around Burnham Deepdale, then why not combine your visit to Deepdale Christmas Market with some exploration. Recommend is a walk on one of the stunning beaches, a stroll along the Norfolk Coast Path and taking in the views from Barrow Common.
Combine with some location history
If a wander in the countryside isn’t for you, then why not combine your shopping with some local history. You could start with St Mary’s Church, which is hosting Deepdale Christmas Market stalls. Have a look at the Norman font, Saxon round tower and stained glass windows. St Mary’s is part of the Saxon shore churches, a group of historic churches along the coast.
