A Sprinkle of Spring at Pensthorpe

With Spring in full swing (finally!), what better way to spend half term than to feed the ducks, explore the great outdoors and play in the award winning indoor and outdoor adventure play areas at Pensthorpe Natural Park?

Celebrating all that is wonderful about the natural world, their ‘Sprinkle of Spring’ event features hands-on activities such as guided pond dipping, nature-inspired craft making and a spring trail weaving through the woodlands and wetlands of the reserve.

Find out more about some of Pensthorpe’s fascinating residents by joining a squirrel talk at 12pm and a nest box talk at 2.30pm.

Then round off the day by seeing what life is like as a Pensthorpe warden and join the guided daily bird feed at 4pm. Take a seat in the viewing gallery and discover what birds live within the Pensthorpe collection, what they feed on and what migratory birds visit the Mill Pond throughout the year.

Naturally, we’re hoping to add to our Pensthorpe badge collection (special, limited edition badges are available for those that complete their school holiday trails!)

A Sprinkle of Spring runs from 26th May – 3rd June. Save £1 per person when you book your tickets online!
